We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. You will assist with daily living activities, support the implementation of care plans, and ensure that our clients receive the best possible support tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities
– Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
– Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication reminders.
– Implement and monitor care plans under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
– Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition.
– Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
– Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
– Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.

Experience
– Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is advantageous but not essential.
– Familiarity with care plans and home care practices is preferred.
– Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
– A valid driving licence is beneficial for transporting clients when necessary.
– IT proficiency to manage documentation and communication effectively is desirable.
