We are expanding our team and looking for Practitioners who want to be part of our drive to improve the health outcomes for the children, young people and their families who live in this community. We work in partnership with families, making co-production a top priority.
Subject to a Recruitment and Retention Premia of 6% for practitioners who have been qualified for over 12 months and 4% for those qualified for under 12 months.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
Essential
- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse – Health Visiting – BSc or equivalent
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Willingness to undertake additional training in line with service development.
Desirable
- Mentorship and Support in Professional Practice (MSPP); ENB 997/998 or equivalent mentorship/teaching qualification.
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme, and a working knowledge of current best practice in health.
- Evidence of assessment of care needs, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans
Desirable
- Evidence of involvement in project development work
- Significant post qualification experience as a Health Visitor
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
- Ability to demonstrate excellent caseload management skills, prioritising need when necessary and delegating relevant tasks to skill mixed members of the team/system to meet the needs of the child/family.
- Ability to work with a wide range of clients in diverse settings
Desirable
- Evidence of leadership in service change/redesign
- Audit and evaluation skills
