Home Care Assistant: Sponsorship Available

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting independence. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans tailored to each client’s needs.

Responsibilities
– Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
– Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
– Prepare meals and assist with dietary requirements according to care plans.
– Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
– Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
– Drive clients to appointments or social outings when required.
– Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the relevant professionals.
– Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Skills
– Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families.
– Ability to drive safely and responsibly, ensuring timely transportation for clients as needed.
– Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively with team members.
– Experience or knowledge of home care practices is advantageous.
– Familiarity with developing and following care plans tailored to individual client needs is preferred.
– A caring attitude towards clients, demonstrating empathy and respect at all times.
– Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
