About Us
Gadgets Care Ltd is a local computer repair and IT support shop based in Hebburn. We provide in-store and remote services for walk-in retail customers and small businesses, including device repairs, software setup, and network troubleshooting.
As our client base grows, we are looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our friendly and hands-on team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, and other computing devices
- Replace or upgrade hardware components (e.g., SSDs, RAM, power supplies)
- Install and configure operating systems (Windows/Linux) and essential software
- Troubleshoot issues related to software, internet connectivity, and peripheral devices
- Provide technical support to customers in person, by phone, or via remote access tools
- Set up and maintain small networks, home routers, and printers
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all repairs and tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (international qualifications accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in IT support.
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, OS installation, and basic networking
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently in a small team environment
