You will be an integral member of the hospital finance team and be expected to contribute to the development, agreement and implementation of priorities.

- Finalist through a recognised professional qualification (CCAB) in accountancy (CIMA, ACA, CIPFA, ACCA) or exceptional part qualified with strong first degree and professional examination results.

- CCAB / Degree Qualified
- First time passes in professional examinations / Attendance at an Accounting for Foundation Trusts courses
Experience
Essential
- Proven management accounting or equivalent experience.
- Experience of preparing accounts to tight timescales.
- Experience of presenting and explaining financial information in a manner that can easily be understood by non-finance managers
Desirable
- Extensive management accounting experience in similar organisations
- Knowledge and understanding of the NHS financial environment
Skills and apptitude

- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to communicate clearly the results of such analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
