Main duties of the job

As Medical Rota Lead, you’ll play a vital role in helping healthcare services run safely and effectively. Working alongside operational and clinical teams, you’ll coordinate staffing plans, manage competing priorities and help ensure services have the resources they need to deliver the very best care. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys planning, organisation and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll become a trusted expert, working with colleagues across the organisation to find solutions, improve processes and support service delivery. Every day brings new challenges, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions and having a tangible impact on how services are delivered.

Person Specification

Shortlisting

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent training and/or experience in business administration, management or other relevant subject area
  • Extensive experience in an administration setting with advanced skills related to scheduling, diary management and organisation
  • Experienced in monitoring projects and programmes of work in work area

  • Experienced in designing and populating staff rosters
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks
