Nannie Annies Day Care is a nursery with branches in South Woodford and Woodford. We create atmospheres and cultures that celebrates a child’s individuality and supports them in any way possible to reach their full potential; developing at their pace and in their way.
Based on the EYFS framework, we deliver our curriculum to each child in a way that maximises their interest and enhances developmental outcomes. Our approach is innovative and covers; STEAM; Brain Development; Literacy and Language; Visual Arts; Music and Movement and Nature.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for an early years expert to lead our dedicated team in Woodford. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality childcare, and fostering an enriching environment aligned with our educational ethos. We are looking for someone with a real passion for working with children and who is looking for a nursery that excites and fulfills them each day.
Role Duties:
- Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver exceptional childcare and education.
- Develop and implement policies that promote a positive learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling and resource management.
- Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to support a collaborative community.
- Monitor educational programs to ensure they meet the company’s innovative standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff.
- Lead staff training and professional development initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- A level 3, or above, qualification in Early Years Education
- 3+ years of experience in a nursery setting
- Proven management and leadership experience within early childhood settings.
- Excellent understanding of childcare regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Extensive experience working with children in a nursery or preschool environments.
- Ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
