Overview
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee transport administration, fleet compliance, and operational coordination within our London-based transport company. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring DVSA compliance, fleet efficiency, driver performance, and financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all fleet activities comply with DVSA regulations, including vehicle safety checks, driver compliance, tachograph records, and statutory documentation
- Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, MOTs, servicing, repairs, and breakdown coordination
- Plan and optimise daily driver routes to reduce delivery delays and improve operational efficiency
- Monitor driver performance, safety behaviour, logs, and route adherence
- Coordinate with suppliers, dispatch teams, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth transport and stock movement
- Track delivery performance, analyse data, and identify operational improvement opportunities
- Oversee business finance administration including cost control, payment tracking, invoicing follow-ups, and reconciliation
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports covering fleet utilisation, route efficiency, and KPIs
- Support workflow improvements and implement best practices across fleet and logistics operations
