Job Summary
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join the team in the delivery of a new Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) across Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust.
This role will involve working in partnership with the Perinatal Pelvic Health Midwife, Women’s Physiotherapists and the lead consultant for PPHS to support pregnant women and birthing people, contributing to education and specialist care provision during their perinatal journey.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the perinatal pelvic health team providing specialist clinical skills, administrative and organisational support with minimal guidance, and will also be required to provide leadership in relation to PPHS referral screening and booking processes, ensuring that an efficient, cost effective and high quality service is delivered to all users.

Qualifications
Essential
- Level 4 validated education programme / NVQ qualification in relevant health care subject or demonstrable experience in relevant area and willing to work towards
- GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C / Grade 4-9) or equivalent
- Car owner/driver or suitable alternative transport to enable you to undertake the job (it is unlikely that public transport will meet this requirement). Reasonable adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act
Desirable
- Completion of CARE certificate or willing to complete on commencement
Knowledge / Experience
Essential
- Previous experience working in a Multidisciplinary team in health, social care or education setting.
- Previous experience working and communicating with the public in a social care/health care/educational/public health setting
- An ability to work on own and make appropriate decisions, seeking help appropriately particularly in unforeseen circumstances.
- Experience of teaching and instructing exercise or rehabilitation
Desirable
- Experience of work alongside physiotherapy staff or within physiotherapy departments
- Experience in data collection
- Knowledge and experience of NHS electronic systems such as SystmOne, PAS, ERS, Cerner EPR and K2 Athena
