We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly and busy team in London. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient operation of the pharmacy, providing excellent customer service and supporting the Pharmacist in dispensing medications and delivering healthcare services to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in dispensing prescription medications under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist, including labeling and assembling medications.
- Receive and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Manage and organize pharmacy stock, including ordering, receiving, storing, and rotating medications and other healthcare products.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries in person and over the phone, and directing customers to the appropriate healthcare professional when necessary.
- Operate the till and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist with over-the-counter (OTC) medication sales, providing information and advice to customers within your level of competence and referring to the Pharmacist when necessary.
- Process payments for prescriptions and OTC products.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Participate in training and development activities to maintain and enhance your knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all relevant pharmacy procedures, legal requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:
- Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
