Duties

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications and ensure that all prescriptions are filled in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and inventory management.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and labelling medications for distribution.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy.
• Participate in medication administration as required, ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• A solid understanding of medication administration practices is essential.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient care and customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is an advantage.
