An exciting development opportunity has arisen to join our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) as a Band 5 Physiotherapist within our beautiful community hospital inpatient setting at North Cotswolds Hospital.

Main duties of the job

As a band 5 Physiotherapist you will manage a wide caseload including neurological rehabilitation, falls assessment and prevention and long-term conditions working in a fully integrated MDT setting.

You will assist in the supervision of students and therapy assistants.

You will be required to provide day to day Physiotherapy assessments and interventions as part of the MDT. You will need to be able to work alone without direct supervision within your agreed scope of practice.

The post holder will be required to provide leadership and support to the Physiotherapy assistants within the MDT. The post holder will be responsible for representing Physiotherapy at MDT meetings and for contributing to discharge planning, and support planning for individuals they are working with.

The post holder will receive support from the MDT and the Senior Physiotherapist as well as profession specific support as agreed locally. You will be involved in some prioritising of workload on a daily basis, including some delegation and assignment or work to physiotherapy assistants.

  • Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration

  • Membership to a relevant professional body e.g.CSP
  • Experience working in the NHS
