The Pharmacy Department is looking to recruit enthusiastic Pre-registration Pharmacy Technicians to join us in the delivery of excellent hospital pharmacy services.
This is a great opportunity to join our friendly, committed team and gain the qualification required to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician. As the successful candidate you will need to be self-motivated, keen to gain new skills and have a keen sense of professionalism.
As the successful candidate, you will work in a variety of pharmacy technical roles to support the undertaking of the Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians.

Essential
- 4 GCSE’s Grade C/4 or above including Maths, English and Science (or equivalent)
Experience
Desirable
- Hospital Pharmacy experience.

- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills (written and oral.)
- Accurate dispensing skills
- Accurate numeracy skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of all rotational technician roles including dispensary and ward-based duties
