Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Information Analyst to join the Health Exemption Services team who will be responsible for extracting, analysing and presenting highly complex data to internal, external customers and stakeholders, tailoring outputs to the diverse needs of different audiences and providing advice and insight to support business critical decisions.
The post holder will be expected to deliver analytical products including highly complex modelling to support the reporting of management information and insight alongside producing and maintaining the reporting suite that delivers quality information to the services above
Flexible working arrangements are part of the role, and the role can be worked from home or in the office. The successful individuals can be based in Newcastle. There may be a requirement on occasion to work from the office.

Essential
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as data analysis, or can demonstrate equivalent work experience or further education training.
Desirable
- Post- Graduate qualification in relevant discipline.

- Able to interrogate databases to obtain data for analysis.

- Able to use database, statistical, word processing, spread sheet and presentational IT packages to produce highly complex and highly sensitive reports

- Experience in personally resolving highly complex queries.
- Advanced understanding of the importance of quality data.
- Significant experience of advising and supporting business areas to gain more insight and value from data.
- Practical applied experience of developing dashboards, reporting or analyses based upon customer requirements.
- Practical applied experience of using Business Intelligence tools with large data sets to achieve significant results
Desirable
- Worked in the NHS or other large organisation.
- Experience of handling sensitive data.
- Experience using data reporting packages and tools.
- Experience of creating dashboards and carrying out analysis using Oracle OBIE or other business intelligence tools.
