Main duties of the job
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and evolving our data platform, currently built on SQL Server and integrating data from clinical systems and other sources. We’re in the process of migrating our data engineering workflows to Azure Databricks, and you’ll be at the forefront of this transformation.
You’ll work closely with the Data Engineering Team, Analytics, Data Science, and wider stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, well-structured, and supports informed decision-making across the Trust. Your work will directly contribute to improving healthcare delivery and meeting both internal and external reporting requirements.
Beyond development, you’ll collaborate with key teams including Finance, clinical divisions, and external partners – providing expertise on data management, architecture, and best practices. If you’re passionate about data and eager to shape the future of our platform, we’d love to hear from you.
