Job Summary
NUH Digital Services are looking for a number of experienced Senior Data Warehouse Analyst/Developers to join our Data Warehouse team for a period of 18 months, to support us during the implementation of a new Patient Administration System. The potential post-holders must have proven expertise in the use of SQLServer, MS SQL, and SSIS. Previous NHS experience would be highly advantageous.
Please note that this role requires regular on-site attendance, and that interviews will take place on site. Previous applicants for this role, which was also advertised in June/July of this year, need not apply.

Essential
- A relevant IT degree at MSc level or above, or equivalent technical qualification & experience (equivalent experience = a minimum of 3 years’ working in a relevant technical role of sufficient seniority)
Experience
Essential
- At least 3 years’ experience of working in a similar role within the NHS and with NHS data sets
- At least 3 years’ experience of software development within a structured environment
- Expert knowledge of and experience in the use of SQLServer databases and SQL/TSQL
- At least 2 years’ experience in the use of SSIS
- Experience in requirements gathering, software analysis/design and in data mapping
Desirable
- Experience of working with JSON and/or XLM
- Experience of working with non-Microsoft ETL tools and database technologies
- Experience of working with Cloud ETL tools and technologies
Communication & Relationship Skills
Essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication (-1 for spelling mistakes, -1 for grammatical mistakes, -2 for unanswered questions, -2 for unclear/confused answers, -5 for obvious use of AI to complete the application)
- Demonstrable experience in writing standards documents, best practice guides, etc.
