Job summary
There is an opportunity to join the Digital Systems Team as a Senior Digital Solutions Delivery Engineer.
This is a key role in providing the overall day to day and operational management of clinical systems that the team support. The role encompasses providing leadership on system interfaces and front end support to ensure systems are operational with minimal interruption. The Senior Digital Solutions Delivery Engineer will ensure that staff members have the appropriate training to enable them to work autonomously. This role will ensure that the interfaces are proactively monitored to provide customer/partner assurance. Extensive experience in the use of clinical system support/staff management/Interface experience is required for this post.

Main duties of the job
This role provides technical level leadership and includes a service delivery and operational management skillset in line with ITIL best practices to ensure efficient & effective delivery to our customers.
Developing services aligned with the needs of the business and its customers through proactively managing the relationship with all parties to create and maintain a client focused service across the Mid Mersey Digital Alliance partners.
You will be responsible for high quality output and development of detailed plans ensuring that technical changes are delivered to time and cost budgets.

- Prince 2 Project Management
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Extensive knowledge and experience of successfully managing and designing large complex Enterprise ICT systems/interfaces and networks
- Extensive knowledge and experience of managing teams of technical staff in an ICT department or similar
- Ability to demonstrate success in managing large complex ICT environments
- Extensive experience of negotiating with suppliers and third parties at all levels
Skills
Essential
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills
- Substantial technical ability and knowledge concerning ICT infrastructure and clinical systems
- Ability to produce clear and comprehensive written reports
