As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software development, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building innovative, high-performance solutions that address complex client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payment Integration: Design and implement secure WeChat Pay and Alipay modules for the WhatsApp Ordering System, ensuring seamless user experiences and compliance with stringent security standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Ordering System Development: Architect and develop intuitive ordering systems on WeChat and Alipay, building robust backend infrastructure and user-friendly interfaces while meeting platform-specific technical and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and compliance officers to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Security Implementation: Embed advanced security measures to safeguard financial transactions and customer data, maintaining compliance with global regulations.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve challenges related to payment gateways, APIs, and system integrations, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Innovation and Optimization: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to innovate and enhance system scalability and efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture to drive technical excellence.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in integrating mobile payment systems, particularly WeChat Pay and Alipay, and developing mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in designing secure APIs and ensuring compliance with standards like GDPR and PCI-DSS.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and managing relational/non-relational databases.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects from inception to completion, managing resources and mentoring junior developers.
• Strong analytical skills for solving intricate technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with platform-specific requirements and security protocols for WeChat and Alipay.
• Proactive in researching emerging technologies to enhance system performance.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills such as Chinese are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Must be currently residing in the United Kingdom
