Education & Professional Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in Respiratory Clinical Physiology, PTP, Biological Science subject or equivalent.
Desirable
- ARTP part 1 & 2 or equivalent
- RCCP (Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists) registered or equivalent
- Further education in subjects relevant to respiratory function & physiological measurements
- Specialist knowledge in practical & theoretical aspects of respiratory physiology & disorders
Experience
Essential
- Post-qualification experience as a Respiratory Physiologist
- Teaching & mentoring junior staff and students (student healthcare scientists & other healthcare professionals)
- Experience of managing own time and workload effectively
- Experience working independently as well as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience of performing and interpreting Sleep and Lung Function tests

- Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence
- Skilled in use of computer/keyboard
