Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional Strategic HR Business Partner to join our People and Organisational Development team.
This is a pivotal role working with senior operational and clinical leaders to shape workforce strategy, support transformation and improve organisational performance.

Main duties of the job
o Act as HR Lead for the long-term business goals and outcomes for workforce for the Trusto Act as HR Lead to support the delivery of divisional and corporate workforce plans ensuring excellent patient care and financial stabilityo Act as People and OD lead for transformation programmes, ensuring workforce and OD interventions are fully aligned to service redesign and delivery outcomeso Drive divisional performance improvement through the use of workforce data, benchmarking and targeted interventiono Ensure organisational development approaches including leadership, team effectiveness and culture are aligned to addressing performance, productivity and quality challengeso Take the designated lead on various Trust-wide workforce initiatives and programmes with responsibility for development and implementationo Build and maintain effective relationships and be recognised as the trusted advisor and lead contact for all strategic issues within their designated areao Hold services to account for delivery of agreed workforce and performance metrics, supporting recovery and improvement plans where requiredo Provide professional and comprehensive workforce information to inform senior management teamso Provide specialist HR advice and business-focused interventionso Provide innovative solutions to support workforce aspects of major change programmes including TUPEo Maintain close working relationships within the People and OD team
Person Specification
Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential
- Educated to Masters Level in HR Management or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of areas e.g strategic HR, workforce planning, employment law, leadership, management, finance, employee relations, training and development and organisational development
- Highly developed specialist knowledge across human resources and organisational/service development needs/priorities
- Current excellent knowledge of employment legislation, case law and good HR practice
Experience
Essential
- HR professional with Significant post qualification experience in a complex organisation
- Experience of managing complex/ strategic projects
Desirable
- Experience of working with a business partner model
Skills and Competencies
Essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at local, regional and national level
- Analytical skills and the ability to draw qualitative and quantitative data from a wide range of sources and present in a clear and concise manner
