CANDIDATES WILL BE PREFERRED WHO LIVE IN THE VICINITY OF THE AREA (CROYDON)

Experienced live in FEMALE carer required for female service users – Free bedroom with all bills included whilst you are at work. You would be required to go home on your time off so please check travel costs accordingly if this would suit you.

We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate carer to provide live in carer / support worker for three females with mental health conditions such as autism and trauma. This is a full time role, 3 weeks on and 1 week off.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to two/three females
• Prepare and serve meals
• Assist with medication
• Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Provide emotional support and a safe environment for the individual
• Deescalate situations when service users are going through trauma

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with individuals with autism and trauma IS A MUST
• Ability to handle verbal abuse and aggression in a calm and professional manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a caring nature
• Ability to solve problems and deal with challenges and obstacles
• Genuine interest in caring for others
• Can professionally write care plans, risk assessments and daily reports.
