About the Role
We are recruiting compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our supported living team, supporting individuals with mental health needs to live independently within the community.
This role involves providing person-centred support to individuals with a range of needs including mental health conditions, complex needs, and dual diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living tasks (personal care where required)
- Promote independence and community engagement
- Support with medication (where trained)
- Assist with appointments, budgeting, and daily routines
- Maintain accurate care records using digital systems
- Identify and report any safeguarding concerns
- Build positive and trusting relationships with service users
- Support individuals to maintain their Tenancy.
Requirements
- Previous care or support experience (preferred but not essential)
- Passion for supporting individuals with mental health needs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to complete training and register with Social Care Wales
