Job Summary

An Exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Theatre Practitioner in Theatres 1-5 . Vascular, General, Gynaecology, Urology and Robotics.

The vacancy is open to either an Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse. (Newly qualified students will be considered).

Main duties of the job

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic candidates with the ability to work well within a challenging environment, and who can deliver high quality patient care from both an Anaesthetic and Scrub skill set. We promote a dual role workforce in our theatre department. To work collaboratively within a specialised theatre team and contribute towards the smooth and effective running of Theatre lists and to rotate through the varying specialities within the department. They will be expected to both develop and maintain their personal and professional development,

In turn, we can offer you a structured preceptorship and induction programme for all new members of staff, plus access to on-going continuing professional education and development, appraisal and clinical supervision.
