Main duties of the job

About the Role

As a Therapeutic Radiographer, you will:

  • Deliver and verify radiotherapy treatments with precision and compassion.
  • Apply specialist skills in CT localisation, image verification, and treatment delivery.
  • Support and mentor students and newly qualified staff.
  • Contribute to audits, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • HCPC-registered Therapeutic Radiographer with a BSc (Hons) or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of radiotherapy techniques and oncology care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and professional development.

  • BSc (Hons) in Therapy Radiography or equivalent.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Evidence of CPD.
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) – Level 7

  • GCP Training.

Knowledge, Training & Experience

Essential

  • Clinical experience in, patient support, radiotherapy delivery and problem solving
  • Ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Knowledge of radiotherapy modalities, oncology, anatomy, physics, side effects and management

Desirable

  • Experience with implementation of new technology or service developments

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Good communication – verbal/written
  • Be able to work on own initiative
