Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tradesman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be proficient in various trades, including electrical work, plumbing, masonry, and carpentry. This role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on a variety of projects. The Tradesman will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including fabrication and roofing.
• Perform plumbing tasks such as installing fixtures, repairing leaks, and maintaining plumbing systems.
• Execute masonry work including bricklaying and stonework to create durable structures.
• Conduct painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings and structures.
• Undertake carpentry duties such as constructing frameworks, installing doors, and fitting windows.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety guidelines.

Experience

• Proven experience in one or more trades such as electrical, plumbing, masonry, or carpentry is essential.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is advantageous.
• Previous experience in roofing or welding would be considered a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
• A valid driver’s licence may be required for travel between job sites.
