If you can answer yes to the above and you hold a Science degree or equivalent, then this is the position for you!
Our department performs investigative testing on the brain, nerves and muscles to help diagnose a range of conditions from Epilepsy to MND. We work directly with patients in our department, on wards and in ICU, neonatal unit and theatre.

Main duties of the job
Overa jam-packedtwo yearperiod you will complete an’Individual Record of Clinical Practice’ portfolio,as well as obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Neurophysiology from Aston University.
Initially, you will gain hands-on experience in performing routine, sleep and portable EEGs as well as assisting in nerve conduction and EMG clinics.You will be working directly with patients so will need to be friendly and adaptable.You will be required to multitask, making the patient feel comfortable and relaxed as well as using diagnostic equipment to obtain high quality data.
It is crucial that you are able to work as part of a team and be keen and willing to put 100% effort into reaching your full potential.In return you will receive a high standard training programme with frequent progress meetings, clear set learning objectives and all the help,support and encouragement that you require to become a great Clinical Physiologist.
