Purovets are seeking a veterinary surgeon to join the supportive team at a small animal practice in Nottinghamshire. The role is for up to 40 hours a week, and they are happy to accept full or part-time applications from a range of experience levels.

This is a great opportunity for a vet to work in excellent, state-of-the-art facilities. The practice is made up of four consult rooms, two theatres, ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental room, isolation unit and separate dog and cat areas all within brand new facilities. They aim to provide the best clinical care as well as providing a great place to work, and their vets are given the freedom to make the best clinical decisions for their patients. They are clinically focused, fostering a collaborative approach and creating supportive working environments to be able to achieve career aspirations.

They are a friendly, experienced team with a very loyal customer base. Their team of three vets, six nurses, a student nurse, two patient care assistants and four receptionists are highly experienced and supportive of each other. Clinical interests within the team are internal medicine and surgery, so whether you have a surgical or medical bias, they would like to hear from you. They value their staff and want to encourage career development, so if you wish to enrol on your own certificate course they would be happy to support you.

You will be working in a charming village just outside of Nottingham, well-known for its picturesque landscapes and historical sites. It offers a blend of rural tranquillity and modern amenities with quaint shops, traditional pubs and fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities. Living near Nottingham, you will have access to robust national transport links including its central railway station connecting major UK cities. The city is served by multiple motorways, facilitating easy road access. Role:

– Salary up to £70,000 DOE
– Full or part-time role, up to 40 hours a week
– 1 in 4 Saturdays
