Best Bargain Sewing Supplies Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Workshop Technician to join our growing team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £38,700.00 per annum for a 37.5-hour workweek.

As a Workshop Technician, you will take responsibility for the care, maintenance, and support of traditional chainstitch and Irish embroidery machines used within our in-house workshop and online by our dedicated customer base. Our machines include well-known models such as Singer and Cornely chainstitch machines, along with JUKI, Brother, and Singer Irish embroidery machines.

You will play a central role in store and online ensuring optimal machine operational performance, embroidery techniques through and routine maintenance, precise mechanical adjustments, and efficient fault resolution. Your technical expertise will help maintain a seamless workflow in the workshop and will also support our online customers in getting the best results from their machines. Your ability to communicate and train with confidence and clarity will ensure an excellent experience for machine buyer especially after sale online support.

This role requires a strong understanding of mechanically crank operated embroidery machines, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with manual operation techniques such as thread tensioning, timing adjustments, and mechanical calibration of all types of machines will be highly valued.
